Not getting the right care at the right time can mean your condition gets worse, not better.  We offer rapid access to physiotherapy, often offering same or next day appointments.  

You can find our clinic conveniently situated in the centre of town close to Lawrence Sheriff School; free parking is available on local streets, or the nearby public car park on Railway Terrace for a small fee.

​We will support you through every aspect of your recovery plan, explaining what we think is at the root of your pain, and how we plan to help you recover. You’ll receive any exercises by email with access to video demonstration so you can be sure you are getting them right. Additionally you will have direct access to your physio by phone or email for ongoing support.

​We also offer a range of services to complement your rehabilitation and help you maintain your wellbeing, including one to one or group Pilates classes, or sports massage. As we provide these services ourselves, you can be assured of seamless transition between your clinicians and therefore the best possible outcomes.

Sam graduated from the University College Salford  with a Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy in 1991.  After qualifying, she worked in Coventry and Rugby hospitals, initially specialising in the treatment of neurological conditions.  Since this time, she has worked in a number of private practices whilst remaining in the NHS to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.  She has a special interest in the treatment of chronic pain and holds an Advanced Practitioner post within the South Warwickshire Foundation Trust pain clinic.

Keen to further broaden her scope of practice and keep up to date with evidence based care, Sam completed an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice in 2018 with distinction, at Coventry University.  Through this, she acquired skills in advanced health assessment and became an independent prescriber.  Additionally, Sam has training in CBT  and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, so as to provide psychologically informed physiotherapy. She has been practising Pilates for many years and is an Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) trained Pilates instructor. 

Sam combines this knowledge, along with manual therapy skills and in-depth knowledge of exercise therapy to provide holistic care for all her patients.  This allows her to place the patient at the centre of every treatment, maximising their potential to recover from their injuries and manage their condition in the long term.

In her leisure time Sam is a keen athlete, regularly competing in the Veterans team for Rugby and Northampton Athletics Club. She cycles with Daventry cycling club and participates in the Rugby Park run, both running and marshalling.

Laura graduated from King’s College London with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 1999.  After qualifying, she worked in teaching hospitals in London and has since worked in private, industrial and NHS settings, including a spell as an Academy Physiotherapist for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. During this time she gained a wealth of experience in orthopaedic, rheumatological, sports injury, and occupational health disorders.

Laura is trained in the use of acupuncture and myofascial release, techniques which complement her manual therapy skills and enable her to provide care which is highly patient-centred.  In addition to providing expert “hands on” care, Laura takes time to ensure that she equips her patients to manage their condition in both the long and short term, via the use of bespoke exercises and advice. 

Passionate about delivering high standards of care, and keen to continue developing the most up to date and evidenced informed practice, Laura completed an MSc in Manual Therapy with Distinction in 2019. Her dissertation exploring the safe assessment of headaches by physiotherapists earned her the Student Research Award for excellence, and the treatment of headaches remains of special interest to her. She has also been granted admittance to the prestigious Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), and is an APPI trained Pilates instructor.

When she is not working, Laura loves to spend time with her children and when she isn’t doing this, she loves being active. She currently enjoys running, playing tennis, and skiing, but has loved playing football and scuba diving in the past.

Nicki qualified in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia in 1998  and has since worked in the NHS and private sector. Nicki has extensive experience in treating all kinds of musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries, pre and postoperative orthopaedic conditions and rheumatological disorders. She has several years experience working in a busy acute teaching hospital, in smaller primary care settings alongside GPs; and also in private practice.

As well as completing a Masters module in Injection Therapy, she gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Manual Therapy in 2005 granting her membership of the MACP.  

In the past five years she has completed postgraduate training with the APPI to become a Pilates Instructor, and acupuncture, which further complements her broad skill set.

She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP number 60031), the MACP, and the Health Professions Council (HCPC number PH53982).

Lucy qualified in Physiotherapy from the Birmingham Orthopaedic hospital in 1991.  She has extensive knowledge from having a wide ranging career.  She specialised in the treatment of neurological conditions and later in her career was able to put this to good use when working as a community physiotherapist.  She delivered physiotherapy to people in their own homes for neurological problems and also orthopaedic conditions, musculoskeletal conditions and balance and mobility difficulties.
 
Later in her career Lucy became a manager of the physiotherapy department at St Cross hospital.  Whilst in this role she undertook Masters modules in Leadership and Management.  In addition to this she has completed training with the APPI to become a Pilates instructor.
 
With many years experience of Physiotherapy rehab in a wide variety of settings, Lucy is a firm believer that age or disability need not be a barrier to living your best life.
Whether your goal is to get up from the chair or climb Snowdon, she looks forward to helping you achieve those goals from your own home.

Kath graduated from King’s College London in 2002 with an honours degree in Physiotherapy. After qualifying, she worked in Birmingham and Warwickshire Hospitals specialising in the treatment of neurological conditions.

Kath has extensive experience in treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including strokes, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and head injuries. She has worked with patients able to come in to outpatient settings, and those on wards including the specialist brain injury unit, Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU). More recently she has been part of the Early Supported Discharge Team for stroke rehab for patients in their own homes.

To support her work, she has completed training in the use of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) and orthotics prescription for upper and lower limb disorders.

Kath enjoys being active in her free time, going to the gym regularly and road cycling with the Warwickshire Ladies Cycling Club.

She is member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP number 067467) and the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC number PH63418). She is also a number of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology(ACPIN).

Amy graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Birmingham in 2000. After a career in banking, another in sports governance and having children, she then trained as a Sports Massage Therapist, completing her level 3 in 2018. She further trained as a level 4 Sports Massage Therapist in 2021. She is also as a level 3 Personal Trainer.

Amy has worked in a private clinic treating clients from all backgrounds for the past 3 years and is passionate about helping people live a pain free life.

For sporting clients, Amy understands the importance of keeping injury free and on top of niggles through regular sports massage. She also has a passion for mobility, strength and conditioning training and the effects this has on sporting performance. 

As a qualified Personal Trainer, Amy and has delivered 1-2-1 exercise sessions and taken strength and conditioning for runners’ classes. Sharing her passion for keeping strong to avoid injury.

When not working, Amy is a keen marathon and ultra runner. In 2022 she has been focussing on the 100km distance and has represented England at the British 100km Championships and Great Britain & Northern Ireland at the World 100km Championships.

Amy is registered with the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).

Valerie joined us in July 2024 as our receptionist and administration assistant to support our growing team and the needs of our patients.

She has worked in health care for the last 20 years in a variety of roles, including healthcare assistant and receptionist at local GP practices.

She is warm and welcoming with a ready smile and is happy help to our patients with any queries they may have.
